MAIN FEATURES AND PURPOSES OF N TYPE Thermocouple Wire
NiCrSI-NiSiMg(N type) Thermocouple wire is used widely in all basemetal thermocouple, at temperature above 800ºC. the main chemical composition of positive leg NiCRSI(NP) are Ni(about 84%) , Cr(about 13.7-14.7%) and Si(about 1.2-1.6%), the negative leg NiSiMg(NN) is NI(about 94%) ,SI(about 4.2-4.6%) and Mg(0.5-1.5%). The operating temperature range is -200-1300°C ( for short time) and 0-1000°C( for long time).
N type thermocouple has strong resistance to oxidation than other basemetal thermocouple wire. it has high EMF against platinum67. excellent temperature accuracy. sensitivity and stability and lower cost.
